I’ve written about thousand-year-old books, produced series that take audiences into biology labs and theatrical rehearsal studios, and gone viral for
pop-culture popcorn buckets.
The thread connecting all of it?
Storytelling that makes people feel something.
Nearly two decades of classical ballet training gave me a framework for storytelling built on discipline, precision and emotional connection. Every performance is a communication challenge: you have a live audience and no second chances. That philosophy has shaped every campaign, content strategy and brand narrative I’ve built since. Today, I channel that same instinct into communications work that sits at the intersection of arts, education, and experience — the places where culture becomes accessible and institutions become beloved.
Over six years in higher education communications, I’ve developed a track record of building campaigns that become extensions of campus culture. My work blends proactive public relations, content marketing, and brand storytelling to help organizations connect more meaningfully with the people who matter most to them. Those efforts have earned recognition from the American Marketing Association (Emerging Marketer in Higher Education Finalist, 2025) and membership in Ad Age’s NextGen inaugural cohort.
What sets me apart is my expertise in the overlap among the arts, education, and experience. I’ve spent my career finding the story within the institution and carefully crafting it to reach the masses. I’m equally at home writing in a quiet office and directing on crowded sets, allowing me to understand campaigns from every angle and thrive on the kinds of diverse, collaborative teams that make ambitious work possible.
Outside the office, I’m a long-distance Florida Gator, a passionate writer-photographer, and an independent content creator whose work has appeared in PRSSA’s PRogressions and Lit Talk by Bond & Grace, with brand collaborations including Vera Bradley, Maybelline, and Baublebar. I’ve attended shows in all 41 Broadway theaters, driven on a NASCAR speedway, and fostered 15 ducklings.
Life, like good communications, is best lived with curiosity and a little audacity.

In Other Words
As a Theatrical Lighting Designer, it is critical for me to have high-quality and professional production photos of my designs. Never have I worked with a photographer who has captured the lighting designs that I have put on stage, as well as Toni Marie. She catches incredible angles, lens flares, textures, colors and moments unlike any other person who has photographed shows. Her photos have not only been the most accurate representation of light on stage for me, but I’m convinced she makes my designs look better than they do in person.
Simply put, her photos are flat out stunning.
