Randy Williams on Art, MoMA and Finding Yourself (Valiant Voices Podcast)

As part of my office’s initiatives to elevate faculty profiles and highlight Valiant work, my team launched the Valiant Voices podcast. This initial episode sets the tone for the broader series– conversational, yet intimate– by kicking off with beloved professor and artist Randy Williams shortly after his work was featured in New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The podcast goes beyond the scope of the exhibition by speaking to his inspiration and his advice as a mentor to young artists.

With my experience from my undergraduate podcasting course, I served as the episode’s producer, editor, soundboard operator, and host.
