I was incredibly honored to be recognized for my academic and professional achievements at the 2022 Valiant Awards Ceremony at Manhattanville College!
In addition to being an award recipient, I am also proud to share that I coordinated the social media livestream for this event, supervising a small team of communications students and utilizing a third-party tool to stream to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube simultaneously. The formal Valiant Awards Ceremony had previously never been live-streamed for families and guests unable to physically attend. Over three hundred individuals viewed the stream in total. During the event, I also assisted with the archival recording and edited the footage post-ceremony.
I received the following awards at the event:
- Castle Pin
- Manhattanville seriously takes its mission to educate students to become ethical and socially responsible leaders in a global community. The Castle Pin Award recognizes a group of seniors who have demonstrated leadership above and beyond what any role, job, or scholarship may require of them. For some, this leadership manifests itself strongest through on-campus activities; for others, it is in representing Manhattanville through their leadership in the wider community. This award is only granted to 10 seniors per year.
- The Castle Scholars Award for Outstanding Leadership
- The Kitty Pilgrim Prize
- A departmental award given to a student who made a significant contribution to campus media.
- Honors in Communications & Media
- Outstanding Event Award
- This award is given for an event that has embodied the Manhattanville mission. For Mville in Focus “Fall Viewbook Event”
- Student Leader of the Year
- This award recognizes a student leader of a club or organization who has distinguished 3-4 years of involvement and leadership. This individual has demonstrated the Manhattanville mission through their involvement and enthusiasm with work and activity.
- The Clark Student Coordinator Leadership Award
- The Clark Center’s commitment to engagement through Community Service, Social Justice, Activism/Advocacy, and Religion/Spirituality is the heart and soul of Manhattanville’s mission. The Clark Center would like to honor the Student Coordinators who carried out this mission for the school year.
