I am deeply honored to have been recognized at Fordham University’s Women’s Luncheon, an event celebrating the “inner light and courage” of women leaders across the university. Being recognized as a Fordham Woman Leader was a wonderful moment of reflection on my time with the Fordham Career Center. The nomination highlighted the transformation of our department’s marketing into a recognizable, omnichannel brand—a journey I’ve led as a one-person team dedicated to reaching our students and partners in more innovative ways than ever before.
Beyond the personal recognition, the highlight of the day was celebrating alongside the incredible community at Fordham. I want to extend a sincere thank you to Marie Castro and the Office of Multicultural Affairs for hosting such an inspiring event, and a huge congratulations to my colleague, Delasia Rice, on her well-deserved recognition. It’s a privilege to work in an environment that empowers women to “bloom beyond boundaries” and push the envelope of what’s possible in higher education.
