Social Media Manager
January 2019 – December 2020
While simultaneously attending French-American Ballet Theatre as a dance student, I served as a Social Media Manager, reporting to the director. This position supported the school’s opening and brand building through media-based efforts, such as:
- Launched and built FABT’s Instagram and Facebook presence from scratch, establishing brand voice and posting strategy for a newly opened dance studio and pre-professional company
- Trained the school’s director on social media best practices and oversaw ongoing content strategy
- Edited photo and video content from classes, rehearsals, and performances for social media and regional publicity campaigns, including a video featured in Westchester County’s “Shop Local” holiday campaign (2020)
- Compiled testimonials and images from monthly guest-taught masterclasses for Instagram and Facebook stories
- Collaborated with contracted photographers to organize, edit, and distribute class photographs
- Designed supplemental promotional graphics for print distribution and in-studio display
